The dreaded monsoon trough is almost on top of us today - literally. It has traveled inland and now crosses the coast, slightly to the south of us:

CNA predicts high temperatures, gusty winds and rain today. Not too sure how all of that will happen in one day but we'll see. Scary looking satelllite shot right now:

Rainfall yesterday was .28/inch - August total is now 4.59".
