That graphic comes from the EPAC Tropical Weather Discussion, which is usually the first weather site I look at in the morning: http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/text/refresh/MIATWDEP+shtml/071510.shtml? You have to choose the _____ UTC Surface Analysis, which appears above the Discussion. It's the only place I've seen any mention of the monsoon trough even though it's obviously a factor in the amount of rain we've had lately. Our August total is now 6.91 inches so you're ahead of us. Are you the Barra Weather Person??? |
