If you can get to the bus depot in time, which is only about 1 kilometer from the airport, you can catch the last first class express bus from PV to Melaque at 4:00 pm. I believe the bus line is Camiones de Chihuatlan (sp). Just ask at the depot once you get inside, it is a small bus depot. If you are not in time, there is a second class bus at 5:00 pm, it just takes longer to get south. If you overnight, you can stay at Hotel Yasmin (550p per night single) in the old part or south end of PV just across the street from the beach. There are many restaurants and sunset bars in this area. The next morning you can walk or have a cab take you about 6 blocks to the spot where the bus stops before it leaves from the south end of town around 8:00 am to head to Melaque. I think the bus was about $23 amn in June. Good luck! Adios!
