Hi Jan,
Well the Level I course is for students who are beginners or may already have a year or two ofinstitutional Spanish but not a lot of ability to converse. Level I basically takes what you may already know and puts it into a format that is extremely user friendly. The basic goal of Level I is to teach students how to express their wants and needs and to understand the wants and needs of others. So if you can already do that with a fair degree of comfort you may be ready for Level II.

Level II goes into the past or preterite tense and the use of direct and indirect objects. A good basic foundation for this course is recommended. 10% of Spanish conversations take place in the present tense (Level I) and a full 40% takes place in the preterite, so you can see that this Level II course really accelerates your ability to converse in Spanish.

The cost for the course is $230. That is 8 three hour classes. Workbooks and other materials are ordered on line and they run from $60-95 depending on what you order. The workbook, verb cards and game cards are essential for the course.

You can register once you are in La Manzanilla. Just contact me by email at rickgehweiler@gmail.com If you have any other questions you can ask them through that email address. Hope to see you in one of the classes.
Best regards,
Rick
