Hola todos -- We in the States are very concerned for your community, our hearts go out to you at this rough time. I'm looking for any information for TWO areas of Melaque. My gringo aunt, Mary Melnyk, from Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada, resides late Oct. thru April in Melaque, at the upstairs apt. of "Tina" and family. She is still in Canada, but cannot reach Tina or family because the lines are down. Tina's house is near the corner of Eucalipto and Primavera. Mary also has a Canadian friend with a small house near the corner of Rosales and Eucalipto. Does anyone know how bad this area was hit? Are we talking 6 ft. water running thru the street like some of the pics of Manzanillo? Any details on the conditions there are appreciated.
