Yes, that was a gorgeous tree, also called a Goat's hoof tree, I believe, because of the shape of the leaves. How sad.

And while I'm online, a big thanks from me to everyone who has been relaying info, photos, vids about the storm through this site (TG for Daniel) to keep us informed. If anyone has more data about the homes up on Calle Frida Kahlo, we'd welcome hearing it.
Now we just need the airport and highway to be open so we can come and help with the clean-up.
