Compost in Community Garden

If you have kitchen scraps, you can bring them to the Community Garden. I started a new compost pile today and just lop everything you have right on in there. The compost pile is located toward the back, away from the metal gate on Calle Manglares, the street in front of our house. Go to the back, past the large fill dirt mound and you'll see it covered in black plastic. There are actually 2 piles but the one that is for your scraps has a blue, 3 ft. broom handle sticking out of the black plastic. Just pull the plastic back, toss, re-cover as best you can and try to make sure that the blue stick is still upright so the next person can see it.
