I agree with George, that as a species, the modern Human, is relatively new on the scene, and as for cultures, the USA, as a Country, is even younger, and with that comes some obvious immaturity. I am also hopeful that 2012 brings profound change through a mass awakening in consciousness. This needs to start with each one of us taking that responsibility rather than pointing fingers outwards, using others as a smokescreen to avoid looking at your own doodoo! As for Rick's rant, I will take the opposite viewpoint on this, and even though I don't entirely agree with the policy, I do feel that if there are laws, then they ought to be enforced, or the laws should be changed or entirely discarded. Conscious anarchy would be great if it worked, and for it to function in a fair and appropriate manner, well, we all need to be conscious Human Beings. Blessings to all... |
