I would be very cautious. I know for a fact that whales have been seen in the bay and their waste products can be very large. Also all year round there are fish swimming out there and pooping in the water not to mention the pelicans. Oh man they are really a mess. Then of course there are the boats and ocean going ships and probably some of those kids down at the beach "pee in the pool" too. What with the tides and currents you never know what is going to end up where.
