For everyone who is tired of the lingering warmth (85-88F) and humidity (70-80% in the afternoons), there is a chance of a change coming up. Around Monday or Tuesday a cold front will sweep down into western Mexico and possibly bring us some cooler drier air as it passes by to the north. Here is today's map from the Mexican CNA forecast site (http://smn.cna.gob.mx/boletin/discusion/discusion.html): The "FF 12" is "frente frio 12" or the 12th cold front of the season. You can see the zone of winds, waves, snow and rains is all north of here, but we can hope that some of the air behind the front drifts down our way. (But not TOO much!) |
