TV Repair

We brought our 2 year-old plasma TV in to be fixed at the electronics guy "Roberto", on the carretera in Melaque, almost across from the Japanese restaurant.

When I went in today, he showed me the TV with the back cover off, and said "you need to replace this part", pretty much indicating the whole inside of the TV.

Price for the part: $280 US. We bought the TV for $400 (at Walmart), so it seems a tad steep!

Walmart says they only handle Samsung now, and disavow any knowledge of this weird brand we have: Lexus.

Would like to get a second opinion-- anybody know anywhere else to take it? Manzanillo maybe?
