Mary thank you so much for this info! May I inquire how they calculated the severance pay? How much did it cost you in the end? I think I am going to have my maid sign a time sheet every day she comes so I will have her signature for the exact number of hours/days she worked for me. Surely someone can't dispute their own signature can they? Perhaps with a legal disclaimer that they were not under any pressure or duress to sign.
