I think the reward idea is the right way to go. I think that if the reward was more like $2500.00 pesco's you would really stir things up. You would actually have the locals that don't know who has done the thievery asking questions and investigating. $2500.00 peco's is a small amount if you can catch the thief and put a stop to it. Even if the thief is not caught he will know of the reward and be afraid that someone will turn him in if he continues.
The alarms are a good idea if you are home to wake you. But if you are not home and the thief knows you are not home they do watch. He can be in and out in 2 or 3 minutes before anyone can be there. JMO
