| Wish I had know ahead of time as I am a tree hugger from way back. People shouldn´t be allowed to cut big trees ever or at least until they have lived on the land for at least 5 years. I almost made the same mistake where I live thinking that because I own the land I can do whatever I want. However luckily I realized how special these oldest living things on the earth are. Instead we cut 5 trees and milled them onsite to use on our house. We gave 5 people substantial jobs and have a beautiful forest of massive trees and all the living things which share them (birds, squirrels, bugs, and best of all the shade it gives us and protects the water beneath) |
