Cisco’s Amigos 7 th annual spay and neuter clinic in Melaque was a huge success. 275 dogs and cats went home to a healthier , happier life . Thank you to the over 40 volunteers that put in hours of loving attention to the animals, transporting equipment, moping floors, washing instruments and cages, working at the reception desk, helping transport animals to the clinic and back home again, washing those yucky towels. and making home cooked dinners for the Vets. Camino Del Mar provided excellent accommodations . Thank you. Gigi Bristo and others provided outrageous food and refreshments for the volunteers during the day. Thank you so much for the extra pounds ! A huge Muchas Gracias goes to the following restaurants for donating breakfasts and diners for the Vets : Maya, Ava’s , Concha del Mar, Froy’s, Roosters, Bananas and Esmeralda’s. They really enjoyed them all. The next Cisco’s Amigos Free Spay and Neuter Clinic will be in La Manzanilla from the 10th to the 14th of February and again in Melaque from the 14th to 18th of December, 2012.
