Looking for a house/apartment

Hi! I just recently arrived in La Manzanilla and am in need of a house or apartment to rent, from now until the 28th of March. The place I thought was lined up seems to have fallen through. My new home doesn't have to be big, but it should have electricity, hot water, bug screens on the windows, & a kitchen. I'd like it very much if it could also have a refrigerator and some kind of internet access (sharing a neighbour's wifi cost is fine) but these are not necessary. My budget is about 3000-3500 pesos per month,. I prefer the south end of town, between the zocalo and a few blocks past the arroyo, and if possible would prefer to rent from a local. I speak Spanish imperfectly, but it gets the job done. I lived for four years just up the coast in Yelapa, JAL; hail from Seattle, WA, USA, and was here for a month in La Manzanilla two years ago for the Argentine Tango seminars, so I sort of know my way around. I am a teacher of Argentine Tango who also enjoys cooking, knitting, reading, and meditation. I've been clean & sober for 12+ years, very tidy, very polite.
