Thanks for bringing up this concern, Susan.

So as I see it, we need to get confirmation that:

1)the pest is actually a parasite (like mistletoe or some kind of fig); and

2)that the best way to get rid of it is to cut it out.

Is there a local arborist who would go around and check these trees and then supervise their treatment?

Shall we organize a fundraiser to pay the people who will climb these trees and do the surgery?

Any other ideas?
