Val, Sorry. I am rarely on the message board and not hovering to respond asap. Number of plots. That all depends. I know it is not the answer you want to hear but that is what it is. We had 31 last year. About 3 were lost this year due to the hurricane. The big trees create areas that are not workable. How are you going to work vehicular access? How are you going to route water? Where are your compost lay down areas (in the sun usually)? Do you want to compost? How will you provide more water storage for when the public system is not on? How much storage? All of those go into the equation as variables in determining how many plots the lot can hold. My best guess is that you might get as many as 35 plots and those plots might range from 70 sq. ft. to 100 sq. ft. more or less. I could go on and on, but I think I'll save it and just leave the answer as that. That is my opinion. A workable 35 plots. |
