Currently, in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area (ZMG), happens a sort of "workshop orgy"; crowds of artists have occupied infinity of houses with their work, either producing, storing and/or showing. The proliferation of this phenomenon can only compare with its diversification: exists a variety of styles and media and being the ZMG particularly hermetic in it's idiosyncrasy and it's international projection. The work that is produced is example and guidance of this circumstances that in a certain way is a general rule in those communities that try before the globalization, to propose a tradition and an identity. In this context, Leonardo Lecuanda and Rebis Mgnn produce their eclectic, immoral and boastful pieces but simple in it's media and direct in its signs and symbols; it's midpoint between pop, kitsch, expressionism and any other tendency or rather non, it's an other bizarre dream of a city kid on a hangover Monday on which there is to go to work.
