In your experience, is 54D a more expedient way to go than 80/54?

I chose 80/54 (Autlan) because it looked many miles shorter. It took me all of five hours in light traffic. (I had estimated four hours, so that final hour in the dark made my co-travelers a little testy.)

Is it a shorter on the cuota?
