danza del alma is a community dance experience open to everyone all ages... it is modeled after gabriel roth´s sweat your prayers format with 5 or 6 "waves" or tempos/styles of music... i make my own mix using music from all over the world and from diverse styles, classical, hip hop, russian, african, japanese, contemporary... etc etc...There is no instruction, it is a personal dance, or movement, and every kind of movement is encouraged... the point is to express yourself in new ways, loosened by the music... |
