A not so happy new year

Last night someone came over the wall, cut our screens over the barred windows, reached in and took the contents of some bags through the window, mostly some money from my wallet and a credit card.

Just now I went to our bedroom closet looking for something else, and realized someone had been in there and jewelry of sentimental value was taken. This could have been two separate burglaries, since we hadn't checked that closet for a couple of days.
