You can buy low-tech Pedigree kibbles locally in the abarrotes. It is what we feed our dog. Science Diet levels of quality will require at least Melaque and maybe Cihuatlan. If you aren't going to have transportation other than by bus or taxi, then you should consider weaning your dog off of the expensive stuff and into Pedigree. It isn't a bad dog food, though no doubt many bad dogs eat it. Our ex-street dog loves it. Pardon the pun.
