I think a lot of people know about this but are hesitant to post it. I feel that we have to face this stuff head on, it is manageable when put into the correct perspective / context. I saw serious police presence in town today on two occasions, I imagine there were some I missed. The powers that be are responding. Now, if we can get those patrols at night......who knows this B movie may go away for a while. Problem is they have so far to go from La Huerta. Perhaps a police station in between Melaque and La Manzanilla, around the entrance to Tamarindo would be a solution? When you see the police in town wave hello and tell them thank you, they have come a long way to help us. |
