It's unfortunate an innocent man lost their life to bring about this conversation. My heart goes out to the family and friends of Robin Wood.
Mexico has always been and will continue to be a wild and lawless place for a variety of reasons.
Americans and Canadians alike often isolate themselves in Gringo communities, this creates a false sense of security...SO....
don't forget where you are!
The events of the last week won't deter me from enjoying the warmth and generosity of a country I've grown to love.
