Performance day is almost here for opening night of VAGINA MONOLOGUES! Being in the cold and snow, I will only be attending on Monday by proxy ... ALL THOSE OF YOU LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE THERE! However, "PRE" performance BRAVOS for its cast and crew are due I think: BRAVO for giving of your practice time, co-operation, patience and the many skills necessary to co-ordinate and bring this production to performance. BRAVO for providing your community with, as I understand it, the "purse" earned from ticket sales and with this fabulous opportunity for JOY FILLED fellowship, a priceless gift. Another STANDING OVATION for a production choice that shares the energizing and healing power of LAUGHTER! I wish you all great fun in your performances! I look forward to Tuesday's message board to read reviews of La Manzanilla's second season of Vagina Monologue. That they WILL SURPASS those of last year will not be a surprise. I'm also hoping someone will post a clip so we, WHO WISH WE WERE THERE, can share in a little of the warmth of your laughter! A DP from BC! |
