Arleen, I am a fan of what La Manz has to offer. For 6 years, I have made an annual visit. I was there in November, soon after the hurricane struck to see the efforts of people working, so often together, to rebuild and renew. |
It has always impressed me how many ways, the "seasonal" La Manz residents find to be keenly involved in keeping their community a safe, happy, supportive and healthy place to live. Your play being a fine example.
Last year I stayed with one of your cast as she worked to make her part the best it could be. I was excited to hear the play was so successful it was to happen again this year. Its theme takes such tough and emotional topics and helps its listeners hear the messages while "hugging" them with times to laugh.
That same type of energy has so often been felt when I'm in your ejido and when at home, reading this website.
I LOVE the natural and internal beauty and warmth of your community. Keep up the good work!
