Spot on!!! Lyle's class up at Cuixmala had a day at the birding science institute up there and they netted about 8 birds that morning and the second out of the bag was this orange breasted bunting. I was curious b/c we see them in the community garden a lot and they are fabulous to see. I don't know where the 'orange' name comes from b/c the lead scientist said it is always yellow with a tinge of orange on the sides of the yellow but you would think it would be called a yellow breasted bunting. Right On! |
