When all you hear about Mexico has to do with drug violence and killings; if you're disinclined to think things through; if you're fed a daily diet of stereotype tales of Mexicans; if you know next to nothing about the country and its culture and don't care to find out, then, yeah the US media coverage will result in soiled underwear. Look at the US through the same lenses: 300+ murders in Washington DC alone last year. Is it safe to travel to Topeka? |
