A Big Thank You from the guitar class

A big thank you to all the supporters of Myranda and Mike's guitar classes. Our special thanks go to June and Rick, Gene and Paula, as well as to the many people who donate when we busk in the market or play around town.
From these donations, we were able to buy 2 more guitars (with cases), 12 sturdy plastic stools for playing guitar, 2 new music stands as well as extra strings, straps, picks and 3 cases for students who don't have them. We are excited to be offering 2 sessions of lessons this year and we will be able to sell some guitars (for a very minimal fee) to students who wish to continue learning. In addition, we have purchased about 15 percussion instruments, mostly from the La Manz tiengus. The percussion instruments are used when Myranda does a music class at the elementary school.
Again a big thank you to all those who support programs for the children of La Manz.
