They have asked me to post this for them: BARLEY BROS BENEFIT CONCERTS: Friday 1/27/12 5-7:30pm Sands Hotel Barra de Navidad Tuesday 1/31/12 6-8 pm Albatross Villa Obregon We are raising money to build some permanent playground equipment on a school campus in Melaque. This campus serves as one school in the mornings (Virginia Torres) and another in the afternoon (Juan Escutia). There is currently nothing on the grounds for creative play, very little in the way of sports equipment (a few soccer balls for the boys and nothing for the girls). This campus was also really badly hit by the flood/JOVA. Both schools, which were already struggling with inadequate equipment and materials/supplies, lost 7 computers and have only two working ones that are used by the administration. The schools need 20 computers to set up a computer lab for the kids and to support staff. We are seeking donations of used computers, monitors, keyboards and mice, any or all parts most welcome.
