A Raffle for Javier

 Javier, whom everyone knew as the super-friendly guy who worked for Santana Realty, had a stroke during the summer. He is recovering and slowly getting stronger, but does not have much work anymore. He waters my garden, and also has a little plot of vegetables in the Community Garden. He often brings me a beautiful bunch of lettuce like this. At the Art Walk on Sunday, I will be raffling off a $2000 peso credit for one of my artworks, so I can give him all the proceeds as a bonus. Tickets are just 10 pesos each, or 5 for 40 pesos. I will get Javier to draw the winning ticket at 3:00. Buena suerte! |
