Heard this morning that a new garbage truck is being delivered today at the jardin . The President of LaHuerta is also coming and I gather this is to inaugerate the truck. Also...today is the first day for our new Delegado, Manual. And if that is not news enough, a phone is to be installed today as well. Donation cans will be put out this afternoon for those who wish to donate in the tiendas and restaurants. Think we have 15 ready to go and the text will be written in Spanish to encourage the locals to drop in a few pesos. Other peso donations can be left at the bookstore where you will be given a receipt for your gift to the community. This money is for a moto, bicycles and walkie talkies so that the police walking the streets can be in communication. So far we have collected about 4,000 pesos...and will be matched by LaHuerta for that which we collect. So how about those that wanted a reward system kicking in for this.
