Bernie and Cynthia

Just heard that Cynthia is in England, in hospital. Maybe those who know her could send some cheery messages! Following is Bernie's answer to my inquiry:

Thanks, Mary Jo. Your request about putting a notice concerning Cynthia's hospitalization is very thoughtful....and she feels that would be a good idea. Cynthia has been hospitalized continuously since the latter part of November and she still is....but we're happy to say now that medically she's very much better, and the next phase will be a number of weeks of rehabilitation and gaining energy and strength before we can board a plane for the long trip back.



Of course, we miss our family of friends in La Manzanilla and the warmth of the sun, the lovely sunsets and todos. Still, my girl has been well cared for here and we have family and friends here too....plus the weather hasn't been too bad! A bit chilly- 33F at the moment.
