Gracias Reg  good info for going south..it would be helpful to know which company and class of bus even the time of departure, did you have luggage or only a backpack? As others have experience NOT being dropped off at the HWY exit to LM but needed to wait until Melaque. Also going north to PVR the bus it a nightmare you must catch it at either 2 am or 4am in Melaque. Personally I would rather take a taxi at 7-730am and get a direct ride to the Airport than have to stay over in Melaque or get up very early..arrive way early for my flight and then have 5 hours on a plane... not my cup of tea. But then I am the same with planes i am not going to take 3 stopovers and 17 hours to save 100-200 when i can fly direct in 5 hours. I think it is great if it works for others BUT for me comfort and my time is something I am willing to pay more to have. The good thing is in Mexico there are so many choices that suits everyones needs and Budget. Gracias Reg for the info on the bus going south... Adios Al
