I guess I was blinded by science and did not realize sound only travels downhill. I guess all those 50 odd dogs barking all night long come from the forest above me. And the conversations happy and mad must come from the family of cowatamundies that live in my nearby forest, huh silly me. Luckily with time and tolerance I have learned to enjoy the loudness here too, I love Stephania's new donkey and even the great singing until 4:oo am.
