Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to try your B'mex card with a chip to see if it works and to report back here. My card doesn't have a chip. Near as I can figure, it's foreign cards that weren't working this morning, and that could be because the new machines aren't hooked up with all the networks yet. Or, it could be that Banamex is F'ing with people again. This message probably won't self destruct in 15 seconds.
