Thank you for the help and advice. So a couple other questions I have come up with. I am thinking we can drive down for the final move. So... How much of a hassle is it to "legalize" a vehicle or two and a trailer... Maybe a boat? Clearing the boarder with a trailer of household possessions? Also what legalities do we need to go through with the government to be foreigners living in Mexico? Is there income tax that needs to be paid on income from renting room? Many many questions. I am hoping we can make some good contacts down there and visit with some people when we make it down. Probably summer 2013. We want to spend a couple weeks there during the "off" season. Last time we were there it was the end of the dry season. Again thank you. Mark R |
