| My daughter and I were on a tour bus the previous Thursday and ate at the resturant at ElNagalito by the falls. We left there at 5PM on that same road. There were several buses there when we arrived, some for the zip line, others for hiking, etc. Ous was through the hotel, not the cruise line, but we had no security. Our bus had people from several hotels. We did the city/jungle tour. It is somewhat remote. A good reason to leave the expensive jewelry at home and carry little cash. I don't quite understand what difference it makes morning or afternoon or do the robbers sleep in during the morning hours. Too bad for the restaurant as it will loose lots of business due to this as it was reported from California to Boston and am sure other places as my daughter in Washington read about it too. I will still go back to Puerto Vallarta next winter, but probably won't do a romote tour. |
