A big thank you to Ron Stock, along with his master chef and partner, Melody - and Clare, for providing a fabulous pancake breakfast this morning. This La Catalina Foundation online auction item is an incredibly delicious and enjoyable event - the beautiful view from the terrace; a breakfast of fresh fruit, omelettes, bacon and coffee accompanying the banana raisin pancakes....wow! Can't think of a much better start to the day. Ron entertained us with an excerpt from his new novel Harry's Stories, an entertaining read - and the cooks in the group were pleased to purchase Melody's recent cookbook - From Taos with Love. Everyone left with big smiles (and full tummies)! |
