The only thing we have found that works is WATKINS BUG LOTION - not the spray, just the lotion - and you buy this just like the Avon products - you get on-line and find a dealer near you and make the order. Yes, the lotion is a bit more expensive, but you can cut this with water 50/50 and it still works fine. It is not, however, waterproof so after a dip in the ocean you need another application. The dealer should also tell you that you do not need to smother yourself with the stuff - just a small amount is all that is needed.
