La Manzanilla is in my perception, it aligns with my soul and I am in the big river, wide as the Bay of Tenacatita. Navigation is almost impossible, the river changes from blue to Grey to orange to red. In the distance I watch in awe as the universe spins. The hours between the night and day are a ritual for me and others, like paying respect to nature, where the boundaries between things slips away. It is late now, only the cherished memories of the evening remain, yet their light is reflected in the palms and in the ocean which has written them into the book of life to be treasured always. Bare foot and with my whole being I lived those moments, and this moment and the next, and appreciate them. I wish I could scream my love to the sea and the moon and to the beloved village, open my arms wide and finally surrender any hope of control. Perhaps I will learn or allow that one day, from spirits of worlds gone by, from masters of words and expressions like Mokita. |
