We're here now. Jim I owe you a beer for that great description. All things said and done we arrived without a hitch.

It was a short but hot trek to the National yard with a toddler and luggage including a car seat. We were happy to find an air conditioned office upon arrival.

The counter guy was good. I was able to bargain for a good price with little effort. I'm happy with the insurance I got and I was given a total price up front.

I've never driven in Mexico but have driven in places like Vietnam and China so it was relatively easy. It took a while to get through PV, even via the tunnels. 3.5 hrs later we arrived in La Manzanilla safe and sound.
