Street Pavers

Anyone know (I know, that is a loose term in this city) what is going on with digging up and replacing the brick pavers around the Jardin? Improve surface drainage? I mean, sheesh, they are what 215 feet away from the largest body of water on the P L A N E T and they couldn't get water there in phase 1? Brings up that old line that someone couldn't pour piss out of a boot if the directions were on the heel. Anyway, just wondered. Nice that they 'dig in' just ahead of Easter huh? That should make traffic a breeze for the crush. It would be nice if they would figure the best way to do the tope's would be to go ahead and have the slot in the middle, but kink it 30 degrees from longitudinal, or 45 degrees. Still lets water through but keeps the jackass motorcycle nuts from hitting the slot at 50 mph. Love to see one of them hit a diagonal slot. I'd take the 'over' on distance. |
