We have driven into El Tecuan from Arroyo Seco a few weeks ago, the back way from Playa Grande by the lagoon, and the road was primitive but passable. The road on the El Tecuan beach is in good shape. Don't know about the road in from the highway but I assume it is okay because it is the only road in to a home just south of Tecuan. My understanding is that El Tecuan has just been sold or is in the process of being sold. There are a lot of new survey stakes where the property starts at the south end of Arroyo Seco. If anyone decides to go exploring, take the time to have lunch at one of the beach restaurants in Arroyo Seco, Playa Grande. Excellent seafood. But beware. The road in from the highway is under construction.... Fast tracking a widening project and then supposedly the paving project will follow. Sylvia |
