I was there in Feb ’88. The place was full from the overflow at Carayes where they were hosting the Mexort yacht races. The major source of entertainment was around 4 am, sitting on the hill overlooking the airstrip, drinking tequila and smoking weed while waiting for the headlights to come on and watch the snow mobile land with a fresh shipment. So I’ve been told.
