Hurricane Jova - Looking Back

I'm one of the two hurricane chasers who was there for Hurricane Jova last October. My video of the event was posted in an earlier thread. I just made a short (6-minute) compilation video of my last ten chases, and-- comparing them all-- Jova looks like the most ferocious of the ten. Compare for yourselves. Jova is the last one in the series-- it starts at 5:05: The interesting thing is that Jova wasn't one of the stronger hurricanes I've chased-- at least not according the National Hurricane Center, which officially declared it a low-end Category 2 when it crossed the coast. Either way, it sure was a wicked hurricane, and I thought y'all would be interested to see how it compared to others I've chased. Enjoy the video! Josh Morgerman |
