Arleen and I ate there last night, just on the shock of seeing Miguel standing there in his chef's duds (but now with baseball cap instead of chef's hat). The food was good, but he had just opened two days earlier and things could have used some "arreglando." He is probably opening at the worst time of the year for a new business and his chef status somehow "forces" him to charge premium prices. We tried supporting him last night but, though the food was good, it was served in a dump with no frills at all and a small portion for a big price. It didn't seem to be a formula for success, unfortunately. Maybe things will improve. We hope so.
