In Texas recently , Austin has stopped using single purpose paper and plastic bags . In our town , if you bring your own Bolsa (BYOB)you can enter into a prize draw. Its been a long time coming but we are getting there. I remember Toronto in the early 60`s to get to the picnic area you had to wade through trash from the previous people and the one trash can was usually empty. New York State was even worse. Now things are looking quite different. Each generation is improving their habits and cleaning up their act. I`m optimistic that Mexico is going to do the same ! Next air pollution ...... I hear Manzanillo is moving to Gas . Wish Texas would ..... and leave coal under the mountains of West Virginia where it belongs. |
