Good on you Mary, so far so good. At first when they put the music on at the "new" lower level I felt like I actually missed the intense level, maybe its addicting? I went to buy cigs and order some food and quickly adapted to the new sane level. I was able to have a conversation with people at Tit o's restaurant (in front of the club), a more pueblo friendly level of volume where everyone gets a chance to have a world. If I got attached to the loud that quickly you can imagine the attachment / addiction of those who are working the bar. I am quite sure that if it ain't physically vibrating their body, completely occupying their mind it ain't what they think music is supposed to be. I put a couple words into Google, One was the volume war http://www.google.com.mx/#hl=en&safe=off&sclient=psy-ab&q=the+volume+war&oq=the+volume+war&aq=f&aqi=g1g-v1&aql=&gs_l=serp.12..0j0i15.5454l9579l1l12918l14l14l0l1l1l1l256l1762l0j12j1l13l0.frgbld.&psj=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.,cf.osb&fp=1fba1812b1ab9deb&biw=1398&bih=632 Are the Volume Wars Killing Music? http://audio.tutsplus.com/articles/general/are-the-volume-wars-killing-music-which-side-are-you-on/ "One of the ingredients that makes music interesting is dynamics, the building of a song from a quieter section to a climax. It makes music more expressive. It allows a song to go on a journey". Another was "the value of complaining", I will leave it up to those who care to work that topic. http://www.google.com.mx/#hl=en&safe=off&output=search&sclient=psy-ab&q=the+value+of+complaining&oq=the+value+of+complaining&aq=f&aqi=g-v1&aql=&gs_l=hp.3..0i15.1764l8282l1l9286l24l24l0l5l5l0l210l2421l0j18j1l19l0.frgbld.&psj=1&fp=1&biw=1398&bih=632&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.,cf.osb&cad=b |
